Lisa Tulk Performer. Saxophonist. Pianist. Vocalist.
Lisa studied saxophone and piano at the Royal Northern College of Music. During her time there she was lucky enough to study with some of the worlds finest saxophonists such as Rob Buckand and John Harle.
She has given several world premieres of works written especially for her, recorded and broadcast live on BBC radio 2 and radio 3. Whilst at the RNCM she won the RNCM chamber music prize and was finalist in the Royal Overseas League competition with the Malarkey Saxophone Quartet. She has performed at concert venues including Wigmore Hall, The Barbican, Bridgewater Hall, St Martin and the Fields and The Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Lisa performs regularly in both jazz and classical fields, also as a session musician and extensively as an accompanist.
More recently she has begun writing and composing and is currently working on recording her debut solo album soon to be released early next year.
